South Street, Worthing

Works have commenced on this exciting project to convert part of the former Beales department store into eight apartments in central worthing. The proposals require significant reconfiguration and refurbishment of the original buildings and the construction of an entirely new fourth floor. 

 

The scheme involved complex coordination and detailing to upgrade the 150 year old building fabric to modern standards whilst the ground floor retail unit was still occupied and without compromising historic features that contribute to the local conservation area.
